FIVE-DAY TOUR AROUND ISSYK-KUL
A five-day tour around Issyk-Kul is an unforgettable adventure that will immerse you in the magical world of Kyrgyzstan's nature. Starting from Bishkek, you will embark on a fascinating journey that covers many exciting places.
Your route is laid through the "Boom" gorge around the most beautiful lake in Kyrgyzstan - "Issyk-Kul". You will visit the "Burana" tower, walk on foot to the "Konorchek" canyon, swim in the salt lake, in the evening you will check into a yurt camp, where you will sleep to the sound of the waves of Issyk-Kul.
On the second day of the tour. You can walk along the Ak-Sai canyon, swim and sunbathe on the Rocky Coast, one of the most beautiful beaches on the southern coast of the lake, enjoying the majestic views of Issyk-Kul. Then you will go to the Skazka gorge and further to the Barskaun gorge, where magnificent nature and unique landscapes await you.
After that, you will visit the city of Karakol and have dinner in an ethno cafe. You will spend the night in a cozy guest house, where in the morning you will be fed breakfast and sent on your journey.
On the third day, your path is laid through the Jeti Oguz gorge to the Kok-Zhaiyk valley, where you can hike up one of the most beautiful waterfalls, the Maiden Braids. You will also visit the Jeti Oguz cave, walk along the gorge, climb to the panorama and see the famous rocks, the 7 Bulls and the Broken Heart.
In the evening you will visit the hot springs, swim and relax in the stone pools after an active day.
On the fourth day, you will take an off-road trip into the depths of the Tien Shan Mountains to the Altyn-Arashan Valley, where you can walk and swim in hot springs.
The fifth day of your adventure will begin with kayaking, exploring the waters of Issyk-Kul from a new perspective.
Then your journey will continue through the Grigoryevskoye and Semenovskoye gorges, where you will find breathtaking natural beauty, lunch in a national yurt by the river and stunning views. Finishing your journey, you will visit the Kok-Moinok canyon and return to Bishkek.

Day One:
08:00 - Departure from Bishkek

08:30 - 09:30 Excursion to the "Burana" Tower
09:30 - 11:00 Transfer to the "Boom" Gorge
We will travel approximately 75 km
11:00 - 15:00 Hiking in the "Konorchik" Canyon
15:00 - 16:00 Lunch at a cafe
16:00 - 18:00 Transfer to the Salt Lake (only during the summer period), with a stop at the "Orto Tokoy" Reservoir along the way
We will travel approximately 125 km
18:00 - 19:00 Swimming in the Salt Lake (only during the summer period)
19:00 - 20:30 Transfer to the yurt camp on the lakeshore
We will travel approximately 10-30 km, depending on the road
20:00 - Check-in at the yurt camp, dinner
Throughout the day, we will travel approximately 330 km
Note: In case of bad weather, we will not visit the Konorchik Canyon, as the road passes through a narrow gorge and a mudslide is possible. Instead of Konorchik, we will visit the Kok-Moynok Canyon
Day Two:
08:00 - Breakfast
08:30 - 09:30 Excursion in the "Ak Say" Canyon
10:30 - 11:30 Transfer to the wild beach on the southern shore, "Rocky Shore"
On the way, we will stop at the village of Kadji-Sai to buy groceries for lunch. We will travel approximately 55 km
11:30 - 14:30 Swimming, picnic
14:30 - 15:30 "Skazka" Gorge - walk around the surroundings
15:30 - 16:10 Transfer to "Barskaun" Gorge
We will travel approximately 40 km
16:00 - 17:30 "Barskaun" Gorge - hike to the waterfall
17:30 - 19:00 Transfer to the city of Karakol
We will travel approximately 97 km
19:00 - Dinner at an ethnic cafe
21:00 - Check-in at the guesthouse
Throughout the day, we will travel approximately 190 km
Day Three:
08:00 - Wake up, breakfast
09:00 - 10:00 Transfer to "Jeti Oguz" Gorge
We will travel approximately 25 km
10:00 - 11:00 Stop at the "Broken Heart" rock, hike to the viewpoint
11:00 - 11:30 Transfer through the gorge from the "Broken Heart" rock to the "Kok Jaiyk" valley
11:30 - 13:30 Hiking to the "Maiden's Braids" waterfall
13:30 - 14:30 Hiking down the gorge to the "Broken Heart" rock
14:30 - 15:30 Transfer to Karakol
15:30 - 18:30 Lunch at a cafe, souvenir shopping, visit to the Orthodox church and the Dungan mosque
18:30 - 19:00 Transfer to the village of Ak-Suu to the hot springs
We will travel approximately 12 km
19:00 - 20:30 Evening swimming in the springs
21:00 - Return to the guesthouse
Throughout the day, we will travel about 100 km
Day Four:
08:00 - Wake up, breakfast
09:00 - 11:00 Transfer from Karakol to "Altyn Arashan" Gorge
We will travel approximately 20 km
11:00 - 17:00 Walk through the gorge, swimming in hot springs
17:00 - 19:00 Transfer back to Karakol
19:00 - Dinner at an ethnic cafe
21:00 - Return to the guesthouse
Throughout the day, we will travel approximately 40 km
Note: If the ascent to Arashan is not possible (due to an avalanche, road washout, etc.), we will visit the Saruu Gorge instead.
Day Five:
08:00 - Wake up, breakfast
09:00 - 11:00 Transfer to the Semenovskoye Gorge
11:00 - 15:00 Visit to the "Semenovskoye" Gorge, lunch in a yurt, visit to "Grigorievskoye" Gorge
15:00 - 17:00 Transfer to the Kok-Moynok Canyon
17:00 - 19:00 Walk through the Canyon, dinner at a cafe in the Boom Gorge
19:00 - 21:00 Transfer back to Bishkek
Throughout the day, we will travel approximately 453 km
Alternatively, we can replace the walk in the canyon with kayaking on Lake Issyk-Kul.
Kayak rental is paid separately.

Note: The entire route includes stops for taking photos and enjoying the beauty of nature. Travel times and distances are approximate and may vary depending on road conditions and weather. Individual tour participants are not required to strictly follow the specified route and have the opportunity to stay for additional time in places they particularly liked. You can also stay for several days and nights in any place. The main thing is to agree on this issue when booking.

This tour is conducted in Russian or Kyrgyz. If you require the services of a guide-interpreter, it is available for an additional fee of 9,000 KGS per day.
Additional mandatory expenses:
Lunches and dinners 500-700 soms per person for one lunch or dinner,
bathing in hot springs (250-300 soms per person).
The tour can start from the airports "Manas" and "Issyk-Kul"
From June 15 to August 30 the cost of the tour increases by 25%
To book a tour, you need to send a prepayment of 30% of the tour cost. If you want to cancel the tour ten days before the start, 50% of the prepayment is returned. If there are less than ten days left before the tour, the prepayment is not returned.
