I invite you to go from Karakol along the southern coast of Issyk Kul to the Saruu and Jeti-Oguz gorges.
The road from Karakol to Saruu will take approximately two to two and a half hours.

The beauty of the gorge can be observed already at the entrance to the gorge, the multi-colored contrast of colors of granite and sandy red rocks, perfectly combined with the greenery of the alpine meadows against the background of the river "Zhuuku". It is impossible not to stop and capture all this virgin beauty of the gorge.

It is in these areas that there are remains of fortifications of the manap (bay) of Borombay, also a rock that has received the popular name "Sim-Sim open up" and the cave "Kyzyl-Unkur" and you can visit all this on the way back. As you ascend, the riverbed begins to press closely to the road and in some places the distance between two rocks reaches 15 m, but this does not interfere and does not create a feeling of discomfort when moving along it.

After driving about 7 km you will reach a concrete structure in the form of a Kyrgyz yurt and you can bathe in hot running water, the temperature of the water in the pool fluctuates between 40 and 50 degrees. Taking a hot bath should not last more than an hour.

Warmed to the bone, seasoned tourists plunge into the Zhuuku River, formed from glaciers; the water temperature in the river is 4-5 degrees.

After walking around the Saruu gorge, we will go to the Jeti Oguz gorge.

Jeti-Oguz Gorge:
or translated from Kyrgyz as "Seven Bulls" - this is the name of one of the most beautiful places in the Tien Shan, located in the southeast of the Issyk-Kul Basin. A mountain valley formed by the river of the same name, descending to Issyk-Kul from the northern slopes of the Terskey Ala-Too ridge. The picturesque gorge was named so because of the red sandy rock formations covered with spruce forests. Having risen to the panorama, you can take a photo from a bird's eye view against the backdrop of the Seven Bulls or the "Valley of Spirits". You will also see the famous "Broken Heart" - a rock in the shape of a broken heart, Jeti Oguz cave - an artificially drilled adit in the rock.

Having walked around enough in the evening, we will head back to Karakol.
In the evening upon arrival we have dinner in an ethno cafe and return to the guest house
